WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS).
There are several CMS’s out there, with WordPress being the most popular. That is why I have concentrated my efforts on mastering WordPress over the past 10 years. CMS’s offer a way to create a website, automating a lot of previously tedious chores. Think of your site as two pieces of a puzzle. One piece is content (text and images), and the other piece is the design. The design includes the colors, fonts, and layout of your pages.
The design is determined by the WordPress theme. There are thousands of themes to choose from, both free and premium. You can view my site (below) as an example of a WordPress site.
WordPress comes with limited functionality. To add features, like a contact form, enhanced security, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), email signup, or automatic backups, you need to add a plugin. Plugins are small programs that integrate with WordPress and work seamlessly with it.
WordPress is written in PHP and CSS. So, if you want to customize portions of your site, you need to be able to write code. This is another area where our services come in handy. We can customize your WordPress site so it will look exactly the way you want.
